About us

Unrated is a group of six artists with the aim to produce sound-installations and performances.

We use the possibilities of different kinds of media but music - which could be described as electro-acoustic - and musicality play the main role. Our approach is based on the deconstruction of musical temporality and the reconstruction of space which leads us to live, experimental, site-specific sound-installations in which space and music unite.

Besides our artistic activities we would like to introduce the international sound art scene to those interested. By organizing exhibitions, concerts and the +3dB Contemporary Sound Art Festival, we would like to promote this artistic „spring” that is so far little known in Hungary.
